Ballerina Cake

made for my granddaughter's 4th birthday.

Method

Take two sponge cakes, I marbled it pink and white colour inside.

I made pink butter cream icing. I then

cut one cake in half and placed it on top of the bottom cake which I have covered with pink butter cream icing first.


I took the back of a fork and pulled the icing along the cake for the top and piped small flowers around the cake.


I made two ballerinas with fondant and also the flowers and leaves which trail down.





I made the ballerina's ahead of time and kept them to dry. Dusted silver dust on their skirts.
