Béchamel Sauce – White Sauce


Ingredients

25 g butter

25 g flour

300 ml whole milk

salt and pepper season to taste

herbs - nutmeg

50 g cheese (optional)







Method

Place the butter and flour into a saucepan and add milk a little at a time and use a hand whisk so there are no lumps. You could also use a wooden spoon.


NB: If you want to make it a cheese sauce add cheese. Seasoning to your taste herbs, nutmeg salt pepper can be added
