Chicken Chow Mein

Ingredients

2 chicken breasts

8 oz chow mein noodles

1 cup bell peppers

1 cup leeks

1 cup carrots

2 tbsp vegetable oil

3 cloves garlic

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tbsp hoisin sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

 



Directions:

Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions and set aside.

Wash and slice the chicken. Wash and slice the bell peppers, slice the leeks and julienne the carrots. Clean the garlic and mince/grind them and keep aside.


In a large pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

Add garlic and vegetables to the pan and stir-fry for another 5 minutes, till vegetables are tender.


 

Stir in the cooked noodles and add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and hoisin sauce. Toss everything together until well combined.




Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

You could any vegetable that you have.
