Chicken in Airfryer


Ingredients

Chicken Pieces

Worcestershire sauce

Chili sauce

 1 Egg

Savoury biscuits/Bread crumbs












Method

I preheat the airfryer at 180° for around 5 minutes.



Wash and marinate the chicken pieces after pricking with a fork. Add salt,pepper, worcestershire sauce,chilli sauce and mix together and marinate the chicken.


Then beat an egg and add the marinated chicken one by one and the coat with crushed savour biscuits which is spread out on a flat plate. If you do not have savoury biscuits at home take bread crumbs and mix with chili powder.



Before putting the marinated chicken into the airfryer I spray a bit of oil or you could mix a bit of oil with the biscuit crumbs. I have a silicon tray that fits into the Airfryer. I place the marinated chicken into this silicon basket.


Then put in airfryer for about 12 to 15 minutes At 180. When finished cut one chicken to see if it is cooked through and raw in the centre. I then transferred it into the air fryer basket for another 10 minutes till golden brown.


Please remember to wear oven gloves as the steam from the airfryer can get very hot.


NB:This Chicken recipe is actually for the Microwave but comes out better in an airfryer
