Coffee and Cream Jelly Dessert with Condensed Milk

you could use Agar Agar instead of gelatine


Ingredients

2 Tbsp coffee

Hot water

steep together to make one cup strong coffee

3 cups cold water

3 Tbsp gelatine/ 1 Tbsp Agar Agar

3 Tbsp of sugar


For the condensed milk layer

3 cups cold water into a pan

3 Tbsp gelatine/1 Tbsp Agar Agar

¾ cup condensed milk


Method

Into a pan put 3 cups cold water, add the gelatine and bring to boil, stir constantly. Take off fire and add the sugar and dissolve. Add 1 cup of coffee. Keep the pan of warm coffee in a tray of hot water. To keep it warm.


Now its ready to be spooned into a dish. Pour the coffee into a dish around an inch in height. Keep the dish in ice water till you get the condensed milk ready. This will then be set.


For the next layer

3 cups cold water into pan, add gelatine, bring to boil and take off fire.

Add ¾ cup condensed milk and stir. Now pour the condensed milk slowly from the side onto the SET coffee jelly layer.


Once that is set keep adding coffee and condensed milk till you finish your two liquids


Side view of the layers. Once unmoulded you could decorate with cream
