Fruit Chutney


Ingredients

3 Apples

1 Mango

Blueberries

hand full Dates

Apple cider vinegar

sugar

lime/lemon juice

cinnamon powder

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp Chili powder

1 tsp cayenne pepper







Method

Wash and drain all fruits. Then cut the apple and mango into cubes. Deseed the dates and cut them in half lengthwise.


Put all the ingredients into a saucepan and mix and cook on medium heat.


Pour boiling water into two empty glass bottles throw out water and cover with lids and keep aside till needed.



Then half way when boiling stir the chutney. Let the liquid reduce. Due to the blackberries the colour change of the apple and mango! I offed the heat and let the gravy thicken. Once you have put the chutney into the sterilized bottles cover with parchment paper and cap them.



As you can see I have not put any measurements - just gauge the quantity. You can add more chili powder if you need it spicier. Once you taste it add what is missing.


Place in the fridge.
