Grapefruit Cocktail

Ingredients

grape fruits

tablespoon sugar

tablespoon Ginger preserve

mint leaves

you would need


a grapefruit knife

and a corer as shown in the picture below



Method

Wash the fruits and cut the grapefruit as shown in photo, if you are using the corer, cut the grapefruit in a zig-zag design to get the scallops. Scrape out the pulp into a bowl, see that the white part is all removed and also the seeds. The base of the fruit should be clean. Take a bowl and add the pips, sugar, crushed ginger preserve along with its syrup and keep in a bowl till its needed in the fridge.


When serving fill the grapefruit cases and garnish with mint leaves, can be served before breakfast or dinner.
