Mashed Potatoes


Ingredients

around 6 potatoes

100 g butter

100 ml milk or to your liking

salt

pepper

fresh parsley/dried







Method

Boil the potatoes, peel and put into a deep bowl. Take a potato masher and slightly mash the potatoes then use the hand mixer and mash the potatoes further. Add the butter and milk and beat further till smooth and creamy. Add pepper and salt to taste.



Using different gadgets you could place your potato on your dish - you can either use a nozzle with piping bag and pipe Rosettes around the dish and put them under the grill to brown them and add the main bake into the centre.



You can use an ice cream scoop and scoop in 3 blobs on the individual dish.

or take a buttered stainless steel circle and put the mash inside and shake it out on to the dish. you can mix the mash with the parsley for specs of green colour.


Or put the full potato mash in a Pyrex dish and zigzag a fork for a design and put it under the grill to get a golden tinge.
