Mulled Wine Without Alcohol

Ingredients

1 Lt Apple Juice

2 Clementine

1 Lemon

15 cloves

1 inch piece of ginger

150 G sugar

cinnamon stick



Method

Grate one rind off a clementine and then peel it and drop in the pips to a saucepan.

Take the other clementine and prick the cloves as shown below into the clementine.

grate the peel of the lemon cut in half and drop into the saucepan and then add the cut ginger and broken cinnamon stick. Add the sugar and apple juice and keep on fire. When it has boiled pour into Pyrex jug and keep.


Note: If making ahead, remove from fire after 15 minutes and keep aside. When your guests arrive, you can reheat and serve with a cinnamon stick in each glass for decoration.


Tip: Warm it up on low heat, cover, cool, strain and serve warm –


NB: Same for kids - No sugar and no wine, add apple juice or cranberry juice heat, strain and serve
