Ingredients
500 gm bread flour
2 tbsp Yeast
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Sugar
150 ml warm water
150 ml warm milk
2 tsp Oil
2 tbsp Yoghurt
2 tsp Crushed garlic
A handful of Coriander leaves
2 tsp Ghee
A little extra oil for covering the dough balls
Method
In a bowl mix together flour, sugar, salt and yeast, Add warm milk and warm water together and pour the warm milk and water mix on top of the flour mix and knead well together. Then add the Yoghurt and then the oil. Mix all together and keep covered with a damp cloth for 1 hour. I wet a paper towel, squeezed out the water and covered it and over it I covered with a cloth.
After 1 hour punch down the dough and make 50 gm balls. Rub a little oil and keep covered again for 30 minutes. Make a paste with the crushed garlic and finely chopped coriander leaves and ghee. With your hand Roll out the dough to an oblong shape or tear drop shape and then rub garlic mix on one side, warm medium fry pan on medium heat and then put in naan and turn over when nice and brown.
NB: If you like you can keep a baking tray inside the oven turn on to high heat and place the Naans on the tray without taking the tray out. Keep a watch out to see them turn brown and turn onto the other side.
