Nectarine Jam

with this quantity I made 460g of Jam


Method

500g Nectarines(after removing seed)

1 Lemon

200 g sugar

20 g Gelling sugar (fruits2:1sugar)


Jars/bottles sterilized


Ingredients

Wash fruits and destone, then slice into pieces and put into a saucepan. Add juice of 1 lemon then add half the sugar mix with wooden spoon and bring to the boil for 2 minutes. Then add the balance sugar and gelling sugar and bring to the boil whilst stirring. Boil again for 2 minutes. Remove Scum that rises to the top. Whilst still hot pour into Jam jars or bottles which have been washed and boiling water poured into sterilize. Keep to cool.
