Onion Raita


Ingredients

1/2 cup Onion

1 Cup Curd/Natural Yoghurt

2 green chilies

salt to taste

1 Tbsp Coriander leaves






Method

Rinse onion under running water, peel and rinse again. slice onions. Rinse green chilies and chop. Wash coriander leaves and keep them to drain and then chop without the stalks. Add yoghurt and salt into a bowl and whisk together, then add in the onions, green chilies and coriander, put in salt and taste to see if sufficient.



This can be eaten with Naan(Indian bread) /Fried rice/Biriyani - it cuts the spiciness in curries.
