Onions Sauce or Gravy

Ingredients

1 Chicken stock cube

1/2 cup water

3 large Onions

2 tbsp Oil

1 tsp Mustard seeds

1 tsp Chili powder

Salt to taste

1 tbsp cornflour

Method

Put a little oil in a fry pan, add the mustard seeds when these start popping add the chopped onions and saute till brown in colour. Add ½ cup chicken stock made with a soup cube, salt to taste and a bit of chili powder. Add some cornflour to make it a bit thick. You could use as is or you could blend the whole thing and have a thick sauce.
