Ingredients
Strawberries
Baking tray
Oil paper
Method
Preheat oven to 350° F. Then wash and remove the tops of your strawberries. Then thinly slice your strawberries and place them on a parchment/oil paper on a baking tray.
When you are ready to place your strawberries in the oven, immediately reduce the heat to 200°F. This should be done before baking. After about half hour and the strawberries have not dried out yet keep the oven at the lowest setting.
Bake until the tops are dry. Please remember to keep checking on them every fifteen minutes and depending on the thickness and moisture of the strawberries the total amount of time they need to dry out will wary.
I flipped mine over in half an hour. Check every 15 minutes. You may need to peel them off the parchment paper. Et voila your strawberry chips are ready!!
NB: You can use a dehydrator to dry out the strawberries.
Also note that if you prefer to have chewy strawberry chips, remove them from the oven before they get too dry.
