Rainbow Jelly Recipe


Ingredients

5 pkt of Jelly (different flavours)

7 packages of gelatine (30g each)

2/3 cup or 150 ml sweetened condensed milk

7 ½ cup boiling water (total)


Method

Pour one packet of jelly and 1 pkt of gelatine into a bowl – add 1 ¼ cup boiling water and mix thoroughly for 2 minutes.

After it has cooled pour into a jelly mould which has been sprayed with cooking spray so that it does not stick, put in fridge for 20 minutes to set.


To prepare the white part pour two pkt of gelatine and mix with 1 ¼ cups boiling water.

Pour in the sweetened condensed milk and stir for 2 minutes. The white gelatine may solidify into layers when this happens put in microwave for 10 or 20 seconds to make it liquid again.


Make sure the first layer of jelly has set before adding the cooled white gelatine layer. Keep for 20 minutes to set.


Simply repeat the process for the rest of the coloured layers. Setting them between each colour and white layer.


Once all the colours have set unmould onto a dish.
