Spicy Mixture

recipe given by my friend Madhu Jain

Ingredients

1 box Rice Crispi Kellogg’s

1 box Cornflakes- Kellogg’s

1 handful Roasted peanuts

1 handful Roasted cashew nuts

1 pkt Khatta Meetha (this is an all in one Indian snack mix)

Take a large stainless or Pyrex bowl add all the above ingredients, mix and keep aside.

Ingredients for frying

2 tbsp. Oil

1 tsp Mustard seeds

1 sprig Curry leaves

1/2 tsp Chili powder

1/2 tsp Turmeric powder

1/2 tsp coriander powder

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp sugar

A little citric acid

Method

Take a wok heat the oil and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder then off the fire and pour in all the mix that you kept aside in your bowl. Add salt, sugar and citric acid. Mix or shake the bowl well.

Let it cool before bottling it. This can be kept for some time.

Kids too can eat this as is it not spicy. If you like it spicy hot add more chili powder, to your taste!

Since this can be kept for some time, it can be served to guests as a snack.
