Ingredients
1/4 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup oyster sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp ginger
1 tbsp garlic
1 tsp corn-starch
4 tsp vegetable oil, divided
1 lb lean sirloin steak
1 lb Bok choy
4 green onions, chopped
Method
Slice the meat into thin slices, mince the garlic and ginger.
Add the chicken broth, oyster sauce, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and corn-starch to a bowl. Stir to combine.
Add half the oil to a pan or wok over high heat. Add the beef and cook for 1-2 minutes until browned but not fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
Add remaining oil to the pan. Add the vegetables to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes. Turn the heat down to medium and add the sauce. Cook for 3-4 minutes until sauce thickens and vegetable are tender crisp.
Add the beef to the pan and cook for 1 minute or until the beef is cooked to your liking.
NB: I used 300 g of beef and used 1/2 cube of chicken broth, 15 ml oyster sauce, 1 tbsp soya sauce, 1 Bok choy and 1 onion - so I just added with out measuring everything else!! I added a few slices of green chili and red chili too.
This can be eaten with vegetable fried Couscous as seen in the last photo or Yellow rice or basmati rice.
