Ingredients
500 g beef
½ tsp turmeric
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp chili powder
½ tsp pepper
½ tsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Garlic/Ginger paste
Salt to taste
For stir fry
1 onions chopped
A spoon of mustard seed
1 red chilli
Curry leaves
2 tsp oil
Method
Wash meat and mix meat with all the ingredients given above "Stir fry", marinate for 1 hour. Pressure cook with no water added for three whistles or add water to cover the beef and boil till tender and all the water has evaporated. The meat should be dry.
Put oil into a pan and when hot add the mustard seed and then add the chopped onions and curry leaves, chili and sauté and toss till translucent. (approx. 3mts). Add cooked beef and fry for 5 minutes on medium heat.
