Strawberry Meringue Ice Cream

– with preparation method in my automatic ice cream maker –


Ingredients

250 g fresh Strawberries

150g of Icing sugar

2 tsp of Lime juice

200 ml of full Cream

50 g of Meringues


For decoration

150 g Strawberries

1 tsp of icing sugar

1 tsp of lime juice


Method

Puree the strawberries, icing sugar and lime juice, add this to the cream, break or crush half of the meringues add to this mixture and keep to cool.







Prepare the ice cream machine – add the vodka in the bottom of the ice cream maker, then place the removable bucket start the motor and let run for 5 minutes. Then add the cooled ice cream mix in and let the ice cream mix turn, once the sound changes and the blades turn in the opposite direction the ice cream is ready for the freezer.


Once the Ice Cream is ready to serve you could decorate with Strawberries, a squeeze of Lime juice and a sprinkle of Icing sugar on top.
