Ingredients
10 Eggs
Butter
cheese
chili powder
salt
pepper
Green chillies (optional)
Method
Boil the eggs, try to fit them in the pan pointed side of the egg upwards, then cover with water. Once the eggs are boiled gently peel and cut them in half lengthwise. With a teaspoon scoop out the yellow middle(yolks) into a bowl, whilst warm with a little butter, salt, pepper and chilli powder. I used a food processor - if you like you could add cheese to this. Add all this according to your taste.
Fill a icing nozzle or cookie press, use a suitable tip and fill in your egg boats.
*if it is only adults you could slice the green chillies very fine and add to the egg yolk paste.
If you are using a piping nozzle to fill the egg cases the green chillies may obstruct the smooth flow.
to make it more festive you could add a toothpick to each boat with a flag. or a salad leaf in the shape of a flag.
