Stuffed Waffles

another gadget

makes about 6 cups 8 stuffed waffles - savoury or sweet


Ingredients

2 1/2 cups all purpose flour

1 tsp salt

2 tbsp baking powder

1 tbsp cornstarch

2 tbsp sugar

2 eggs

2 cups milk

1/3 cup melted butter 

2 tsp vanilla extract


Method

In a bowl combine flour, salt, baking powder, Corn-starch and sugar and mix. In a

separate bowl combine eggs, milk, butter and vanilla and mix. Then combine dry and wet ingredients and mix till smooth. Your batter is now ready.



I made corned mutton and potatoes for the stuffing. Add stuffing of your choice



Warm the waffle iron till the green light illuminates, then pour in a little batter to the first line, keep it to rise a bit before adding you filling. Then fill and add another layer of batter on top.

DO NOT CLOSE the Latch of the waffle pan. As the batter will overflow.



Do not keep opening the lid, wait till it cooks and a nice smell of waffles cooking.




Sweet - add Strawberries, jam, bananas anything of your choice -
