Blueberry Jam

with this quantity I made 690g of Jam


Method

500g Blue Berries

200 g sugar

20 g Gelling sugar (fruits2:1sugar)


Jars/Bottles for the jam


Ingredients

Wash fruits and drain and put into a saucepan, Add half the sugar and bring to the boil for 2 minutes. Then add the balance sugar and gelling sugar and bring to the boil whilst stirring. Boil again for 2 minutes. Remove the scum that rises to the top, and whilst still hot pour into Jam jars or bottles which have been washed and boiling water poured into sterilize. Keep to cool.


This could be eaten with waffles.
